Important information for ticket holders
Hi TP friends,
We are looking forward to seeing you this year at Tropical Pressure Festival. Before you arrive please take time to read ALL of the Site & Travel info on our website: https://www.tropicalpressure.co.uk/festival-site
Before arriving on site, please sign into our ticket platform and complete essential guest details to ensure your arrival runs smoothly: www.tropicalpressure.co.uk/bookings
Did you know that we have a FREE shuttle bus running from Redruth Train Station straight to our box office? Save money, time and walking distance. Plus, it’s a more eco-friendly choice!
If you're planning to bring a vehicle onsite please purchase the appropriate parking or live in vehicle pass our website in advance to save yourself time upon arrival.
Our ticket office will be open from 10am to 10pm each day. Please note that there is no entry outside of these times. On arrival you will need to follow our colour coded system:
PINK - Weekend parking
BLUE - Day parking, family camping and accessible parking
ORANGE - Live-in vehicles, crew, artists and traders
If you’re on the PINK route, it’s less than a five minute walk to the box office.
How to get here:
From Thursday 10th July our one way system will start and everyone must arrive via MAWLA LANE END and there will be NO ACCESS VIA CHAPEL HILL.
(In 2024 this changed direction, so it may be different from what you are used to if you have attended the festival prior to 2024).
Head up the valley towards Scorrier, Redruth and Truro
Stay on this road for approximately 3 minutes / 1.5miles
You will then take a sharp right turn towards Mawla
This road will continue straight for 1 mile, then after a bend to the left you will turn right towards Mawla Lane End
Stay on this road and you will reach Tropical Pressure

Joining the one way system from the A30
Come off the A30 at the new Chiverton Interchange and take the B3277 towards St Agnes
At Severnmilestone take the left turn towards Porthtowan
When you reach the bottom of the valley, where Coast Road joins Rose Hill turn left towards Scorrier, Redruth and Truro
You will now have joined the one way system described above

NOTE - There is a night time road closure on Chapel Hill from Thursday 10th July - follow diversion signs.
Top tips!
We have a dedicated space to lock up bicycles safely. If you arrive by bike, before you lock it in the bike rack, head to the box office to claim a free drink on us!
To lower the impact of TP, we are again focusing on reducing waste, with even more recycling and composting this year. All traders will be using cardboard & paper food containers and wooden cutlery, so please ensure this is put in composting bins around the site along with all food waste. It is essential waste is split into the correct bins - PLEASE support us with this!
At the risk of jinxing it - the weather forecast looks fantastic! Don’t forget your sun cream and water bottles. We have drinking points throughout the site.
Look out for our FREE festival programme available at our Box Office and Info Point for music and workshop timings, or head to our website in advance.
And most importantly… this year’s fancy dress theme is ‘Birds of a Feather’. We can’t wait to see your creative interpretations and will be scouting for winners late Saturday afternoon in the main arena.
Please contact us via hello@tropicalpressure.co.uk with any enquiries.
SEE YOU SOON!
