Travel & Parking

Tropical Pressure Festival takes place at the Eco Park, Chapel Hill, Porthtowan, Cornwall, TR4 8HL. It’s a gorgeous clifftop site in an area of outstanding natural beauty on the north Cornish coast.

We encourage travelling sustainably and have several initiatives in place to help:

If you travel by train, we can get you to the festival in our FREE shuttle bus from Redruth station. The Shuttle Bus will run on Friday / Saturday / Sunday to and from Redruth Railway Station and on Monday morning from the festival to Redruth. To book a free place, please fill out this form.

If you come by bike you can have a drink on us, just let our box office team know that you're a cyclist when you arrive.

Or get in on a car share to reduce your carbon emissions and arrive the sociable way! Check out our Tropical Connections Facebook group to find or offer a lift share.

If you are coming by car or van, please make sure you purchase the correct parking ticket when you're booking.

Onboard:Earth

How we’re tackling travel impacts & funding environmental restoration with onboard:earth

onboard:earth is a live events industry response to the climate crisis – a community of events, festivals, suppliers, artists and music companies taking action to reduce travel impacts by moving low-carbon travel into the heart of live events culture and raising funds for environmental restoration.

Since 2015, onboard:earth has worked with over 160 event industry members, providing resources, tools, advice and inspiration to reduce travel emissions and channeling over £740,000 from event-goers to environmental restoration, climate action and climate justice projects.

Travel is typically the largest source of carbon emissions at live events. We’re working to tackle these impacts and you can help us by choosing a lower-carbon option for your journey to Tropical Pressure 2026.

However, we know that cars and campers are still the most popular way to arrive. To address the environmental impact for 2026, £1.50 from your car parking pass and £3 from your live in vehicle pass goes to onboard:earth who channel your donations to support four key environmental outcomes:

  • Regenerating marine ecosystems around the UK coastline.
  • Tree planting to restore habitats and create sustainable livelihoods in Malawi.
  • Protecting threatened rainforests to sink carbon and preserve biodiversity.
  • Offsetting carbon and upholding climate justice through a clean cookstove project in West Africa

If you didn’t buy a car-parking pass and would like to donate you can use onboard:earth’s Travel Carbon Calculator.
