THE CRACKED

The Cracked come to life the moment the sun sets. This international jet-set of musicians create high energy original material inspired by the very best of Tropical, Soca, Latin Afro, Afrobeat, Upbeat, Cosmic Disco and Balearic Beats.

Their story begins with the Balearic sound and spirit that rose up through the dance floors of the clubs on the hedonistic pleasure island of Ibiza during the late 80’s. Taking this to their hearts, The Cracked’s musical odyssey has continued through West Africa, Cuba, the Caribbean and South America, feasting on styles ranging from Cumbia and Ska to Soul, Funk and Reggae.

With a pulsating live show, the band has become firm favourites at various summer festivals and have appeared alongside the likes of Grammy-nominated Hot 8 Brass Band from New Orleans, Afro Celt Sound System and Primal Scream. The Cracked are currently working on their sixth studio album.
