MISSEX

Missex is a queer, antiracist character. Masked to dissolve identity bound aries, Missex create electrogruarritrop: a unique blend of electroclash and tropical beats. With their body and voice, amplifies movements against discrimination and celebrates diversity in every performance. In 2025, Missex will release their debut album on digital and vinyl, successfully funded through a crowdfunding campaign.

Missex was selected by BAM Cultura Viva during Barcelona’s iconic Mercè festivities from over 620 project submissions. She has performed at prestigious venues in Barcelona, including Sala Apolo, Sidecar, El Pacha BCN, Fabra i Coats, Candy Darling, and Diobar. Her reach extends to Madrid, where she has appeared at La Casa Encendida, Sala Caracol, and Sol, in collaboration with Guacamayo Tropical.

Internationally, she has captivated audiences at Latino Power in Bogotá, Colombia. A dynamic presence in diverse events, Missex won the Audience Award at Talentos Churros con Chocolate and has performed at numerous influential gatherings, such as Furia Queer, De(s)generadas, Poble Sec Festivities, Floresta Festivities, Gracia Festivities Uñas y Dientes, Kobraqueer, Cabaret Empower't Dona Cançó, and Queer Barcelona Week.

Missex contributed her character and music to La madre que nos parió, an Iberescena-winning project. She is widely celebrated as a Barcelona queer icon and a committed activist for anti-racist and feminist causes. Looking ahead, Missex is preparing her debut album, set to release on vinyl in 2025.

LA LVCHA 

La Lvcha is a wild woman and creator of transformative musical experiences. Her distinctive style infuses her performances with a mix of folklore, mysticism, and vibrant color. With her immersive sounds, she seeks to awaken consciousness through rhythmic frequencies, guiding listeners to states of high vibration where the mind yields to the heart, embarking on a dreamlike sensory journey.

A lover of nature, she uses her unique flow to create atmospheres that breathe freedom, fostering the emergence of emotions and connection with our bodies, shaking off any blockages to the rhythm of her music. For her, revolution is synonymous with joy, pleasure, and a deep connection with our purest senses, extending this harmony to all of humanity.

La Lvcha goes beyond being a DJ, embodying a musical visionary, creative producer, and musical shaman. Her eclectic style shines through various world music genres, from Colombian folk music to Afro breakbeats, weaving organic sounds and earth-born instruments with healing frequencies.
