Webmoms weaves spoken word musings and babbling vocals into the fabric of his laid back, sultry beats. Experimental production and Webmoms’ iconic bossa-inspired guitar/flute combination add to this, creating a unique fusion of sound and soul that boasts cleverly crafted, poignant lyricism and broaches important topics to the artist and many other young people right now. The UK’s currently unstable and politically charged landscape has been a real spark to get this EP underway. The Far Right riots in particular have played a huge part in igniting a fearlessness in Webmoms and a strive to see change. For many years this country has proved time and time again that the voices of people of colour are seldom heard.
