BOM NATION

Description of image

BOM Nation takes influence from all the corners of Africa and its diaspora, blending 25 years of Western electronic music into a melange of forward facing, leftfield afrofuturism. Their debut album Àșęon Paper Recordings feature some of Africa’s brightest rising stars Luka Productions (Mali), cosmic poet Sirius Rush (UK), master drummer/vocalist Felix Ngindu (DRC/Liverpool) and is produced by Paper Recordings’ Ben Davis (Flash Atkins) and Tom Lonsborough (2 Billion Beats). It goes to a place where afrotech, funk, gqom,  shangaan electro and ampiano rub shoulders with Balearic, bass music, deep house and dub for a psychedelic kaleidoscopic celebration of collaboration and possibility. Their blistering hi-energy live show has been causing jaws to drop and audiences to lose their s**t throughout the UK.
