JUS NOW
Jus Now are Ambassadors of the Caribbean Carnival Sound & are pioneers on the global front. They began when UK producer/engineer Sam Interface & Trinidadian producer/multi-instrumentalist & singer, Keshav first met in the early 2010s in Bristol, UK. Their shared love of Soca & Dancehall, wrapped in heavy-weight UK Bass Music production, has since birthed an adventurous new sound in the tapestry of global bass music. Operating at various tempos, their inimitable sound has inspired producers around the world & has left a mark on UK Dance music culture.
These Grammy & Caribbean Music Award nominated producers have also contributed largely to the identity of Soca music in the Caribbean for over a decade & globally via their unmistakable percussive & bass-laden club records. As producers of songs like “Tun Up”, “Big Bad Soca’, ‘Truck on D Road’, ‘Fire’, and the like… the sound of Jus Now embodies the traditional spirit of Caribbean Carnival culture, while ushering it into the global fray via a slick, yet bold production palette.
Jus Now has gone through a metamorphosis recently, with Sam deciding to step away from the Live show & focus on production & mixing. This has led to Jus Now’s expansion into a quartet, which now includes UK/Jamaican legendary MC & artist Serocee & Reprezent Radio show host, producer & DJ from Trinidad, Blasé Vanguard. Both have long been a part of Jus Now’s family. As performers, Jus Now are regulars on the UK festival circuit at Glastonbury, Boomtown, WOMAD & the like. Internationally, they have performed at festivals like Tomorrowland, Goa Sunsplash & SXSW.
On the global front, their music is a mainstay on radio stations like BBC radio 1/1xtra, Capital FM, Kiss, Rinse & NTS, while at the same time providing a steady stream of Carnival Riddims and hits within the Caribbean diaspora. In 2025, Jus Now won the prestigious ‘Chutney Soca Monarch’ competition alongside their close collaborator, Machel Montano.
Jus Now’s music has been featured in global marketing campaigns such as Apple’s iPhone 13, Fast & Furious 8’s global trailer spot, Nike’s England World Cup football campaign, KFC’s Trinidad Carnival Campaign, Zumba and others. Notable collaborators include Busy Signal, Bunji Garlin, General Levy, Stylo G, Beenie Man, Yung Bredda, DJ Fresh, Ms. Dynamite, Major Lazer, Kes, Machel Montano & many more.
